CH-46E Sea Knight helicopters with Marine Medium Helicopter Squadron 262 (Reinforced), 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit, prepare to land with the Battalion Landing Team's Combined Anti-Armor Team providing security here, Sept. 22. Various MEU elements worked in conjunction with the BLT's Company G. during a helicopter-borne assault on a notional enemy-held town during the MEU's certification exercise while deployed throughout the Asia-Pacific region on the yearly-scheduled Fall Patrol. The 31st MEU is the only continuously forward-deployed MEU and is the Marine Corps' force in readiness for the Asia-Pacific region.
