Sgt. Nicholas Tyler, a UH-1Y Venom helicopter crew chief assigned to Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 262 (Reinforced), 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit, watches a AH-1W Super Cobra helicopter from VMM-262 land on the flight deck of USS Green Bay while participating in a missile exercise during Valiant Shield 16, Pacific Ocean, Sept. 18, 2016. VS 16 is a biennial, U.S.-only, field training exercise with a focus on integration of joint training among U.S. forces. This training enables real-world proficiency in sustaining joint forces through detecting, locating, tracking and engaging units at sea, in the air, on land and in cyberspace in response to a range of mission areas.
