Lance Corporal Alexander J. Perkins sights in while clearing a building during a vertical assault exercise Dec. 10 at Combat Town. While clearing the room, the Marines found multiple simulated high-value individuals and took them into custody. Perkins, from Johnston City, Illinois, is a rifleman with Company E, Battalion Landing Team 2nd Battalion, 4th Marines, 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit.
