Marines assigned to the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit depart the well deck of the amphibious dock landing ship USS Germantown (LSD 42) in Combat Rubber Raiding Crafts during the Amphibious Landing Exercise 15. PHIBLEX is an annual bilateral training exercise conducted with the Armed Forces of the Philippines. The USS Germantown is part of the Peleliu Expeditionary Strike Group, commanded by Rear Adm.
