Captain Jayson M. The Marines completed a non-lethal weapons course provided by 3rd Law Enforcement Battalion, Marine Corps base Camp Hansen, that included Taser and pepper spray (Oleoresin Capsicum) training. The 31st MEU is the Marine Corps’ force in readiness in the Asia-Pacific region and the only continuously forward-deployed MEU.
