Marines assigned to the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit disembark an MV-22 Osprey on the flight deck of the forward-deployed amphibious assault ship USS Bonhomme Richard (LHD 6) after conducting a helicopter assault training exercise. The 31st MEU and Amphibious Squadron 11 are participating in exercise Talisman Saber 2013, a bilateral training exercise between the U.S. and Australian militaries, bolstering their interoperability and combat readiness as a Combined Joint Task Force.
