Gunnery Sgt. Cyrus S. Nator, chief instructor for the Martial Arts Instructor Course run by the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit and native of Newark, N.J., organizes movement to the next station of the culmination exercise of the three-week course here, May 14. The students participating in the course learned how to instruct Marines in every aspect of the Marine Corps Martial Arts Program, earning the tan tab sewn on their belts, denoting them as instructors upon completion. The 31st MEU is the only continuously forward-deployed MEU and is the Marine Corps’ force in readiness in the Asia-Pacific region.
