1st Lt. Tuan Pham assistant operations officer with Combat Logistics Battalion 31, 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit, instructs Philippine Marines during a Marine Corps Mixed Martial Arts Program class, Oct. 24. The class was part of a bilateral exercise, which also included a period of military instruction on the capabilities of CLB 31’s Humvees. The 31st MEU is operating in support of the 3rd Marine Expeditionary Brigade for the Amphibious Landing Exercise, is the only continuously forward-deployed MEU and remains the United States’ force in readiness in the Asia-Pacific region.
