Commanding Officer, Combat Logistics Battalion 31
Lieutenant Colonel Alissa L. Tarsiuk

LtCol Tarsiuk graduated from the University of the Pacific in 2004 and commissioned in August 2007.  She completed The Basic School in March 2008 and Combat Engineer Officer Course in July 2008. 

LtCol Tarsiuk served with 7th ESB, 1st MLG from 2008 to 2011.  While there, she served as Engineer Platoon Commander, deploying to Afghanistan in November 2009.  Upon return, she served as Construction Platoon Commander, Engineer Support Company Executive Officer, and Engineer Support Company RBE OIC.

LtCol Tarsiuk attended Expeditionary Warfare School from 2011 to 2012.  Upon graduating, she then served at Officer Candidate School as an Instructor-Evaluator and Platoon Commander from May 2012 to August 2012.  From there, she checked into DC, I&L to serve as the Aide-de-Camp for CG, MCICOM until July 2013.  Following this assignment, she served in the MCICOM G-3/5/7 as a project officer until July 2014.   

LtCol Tarsiuk then served with MWSS-272, MAG-26 from 2014 to 2017.  While there, she served as the S3-A, deploying to SPMAGTF-CR-AF 15.1 in January 2015.  She then attended MAWTS-1 and upon graduating Weapons and Tactics Instructor course, served as the Engineer Company Commander until February 2017.  She then served as the S4 Officer until departing in May 2017. 

LtCol Tarsiuk attended Naval Postgraduate School from 2017 to 2019.  While there, she received a M.S. in Manpower Systems Analysis and completed non-resident Command and Staff College.  Upon graduation in March 2019, she completed her payback tour at Manpower Plans and Policies, M&RA from 2019 to 2021, where she served as a Manpower Analyst and Section Head until departing in June 2021.

LtCol Tarsiuk served as the Battalion Executive Officer with 9th ESB, 3d MLG from July 2021 to May 2023.  Following that tour, she served as the III MEF Engineer Branch Head, III MEF G4 until May 2024.
