Gen. Glenn M. Walters was the guest of honor during the ball hosted by VMM-265 (Rein.). He is a native of Charleston, South Carolina. Each year, Marines around the globe gather to celebrate the founding of the Marine Corps, Nov. 10, 1775. The squadron, which serves as the Aviation Combat Element of the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit, gathered to share memories of the previous year, which included support of the 31st MEU during its Spring Patrol of the Indo-Asia-Pacific region.
