Lt. Col. Eric C. Malinowski, commanding officer of Combat Logistics Battalion 31, 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit, addresses the battalion during the unveiling of the unit's new crest Nov. 12 at Camp Hansen’s West Chapel. The new design pays homage to the 31st MEU while still maintaining symbols used in previous versions. Each symbol on the crest holds a special meaning to CLB-31.
