A military policeman with Combat Logistics Battalion 31, 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit, fires the M240B medium machine gun during a crew-served weapons live-fire here, Aug. 21, 2014. The training refreshed the Marines’ proficiency with the machine gun, which requires two Marines to operate. The Marines of CLB-31 are conducting pre-deployment training in preparation for the regularly scheduled Fall Patrol 2014. The 31st MEU is the only continuously forward-deployed MEU and is the force of choice for the Asia-Pacific region.
