Lance Cpl. Marcus J. Davis, a supply clerk with Combat Logistics Battalion 31, 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit, and a native of Petersburg, Fla., gives a haircut to Lance Cpl. Matthew J. Sawers-Brule, a landing support specialist with CLB-31, 31st MEU, and a native of Merrimack, N.H., in the troop barbershop here, March 11. Marines and Sailors learn to cut hair in order to maintain grooming standards while deployed. The Marines and Sailors of the 31st MEU recently completed their semi-annual amphibious integration training and are beginning their certification exercise. The 31st MEU is the only continuously forward-deployed MEU and is the Marine Corps’ force in readiness in the Asia-Pacific region.
