Lance Cpl. Joseph Jarman (left), a motor transportation operator and native of Meckberk County, Virg., and Pfc. Edison Ramosgoubert, a water purification specialist and a native of Long Island, N.Y., both with Combat Logistics Battalion 31, 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit, enjoy a warm, home-cooked Thanksgiving meal, prepared by the spouses of senior Marines and Sailors in the unit as part of a Taste of Home event here, Nov. 20. The Taste of Home program, which is conducted quarterly by the unit, gives the single Marines and Sailors in the unit a chance to enjoy some of the familiar flavors of their favorite holidays. The 31st MEU is the only continuously forward-deployed MEU and is the Marine Corps’ force in readiness in the Asia-Pacific region.
