Lance Cpl. Francisco Andrade-Dominguez, a supply administration and operations clerk with the communications detachment, 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit, and a native of Denver, Colo., takes a bite of cake as the youngest Marine present in the unit’s cake cutting ceremony for the 237th Marine Corps birthday here, Nov. 16. The cake was passed to him by the oldest Marine present, Sgt. Maj. Gonzalo Vasquez, the 31st MEU Sergeant Major and a native of Belize, Central America. The 31st MEU is the Marine Corps’ force in readiness for the Asia-Pacific region and the only continuously forward deployed MEU.
