An intermediate passenger helicopter aircrew breathing device instructor, explains how to properly use an emergency breathing device, to Marines of the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit, Dec 16. The Marines were being trained on how to properly escape a submerged helicopter in the event that it crashed. The 31st MEU remains the United States’ force in readiness in the Asia-Pacific region, and is the only continually forward-deployed MEU.
