During the exercise, several key leaders of the 31st MEU shared their knowledge of amphibious operations with Australian forces, which are currently in the process of creating an amphibious force. The 31st MEU is the only continuously forward-deployed MEU and remains the nation’s force in readiness in the Asia-Pacific region.
