A CH-46E Sea Knight helicopter of Marine Medium Helicopter Squadron 262 (Reinforced), 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit approaches the flight deck while landing aboard USS Essex (LHD 2) off the coast of Guam during the MEU's Certification Exercise, Sept. 19. The 31st MEU is holding CERTEX in Guam in order to be ready to perform a wide variety of real-world missions should the need arise.
