Marines with Special Operations Training Group (SOTG) fly through the air in a Navy HH-60S Seahawk helicopter during a Realistic Urban Training Exercise (RUTEX) rehearsal at landing zone Pavilion, April 6. RUTEX is designed to enhance teamwork and hone skills in a broad spectrum of urban operations. Elements of the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), SOTG and Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron 25 (HSC-25) are partaking in the exercise on the islands of Okinawa and Guam to evaluate the Maritime Raid Force’s (MRF) ability to conduct maritime contingency operations.
