Lance Cpl. Shelton Cogdill, a squad automatic weapon (SAW) gunner with Battalion Landing Team 2nd Battalion, 7th Marines (BLT 2/7), 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), sits inside an amphibious assault vehicle (AAV) during a simulated mechanized raid at Dodo, Okinawa, March 23. The MEU conducted a tactical offload consisting of a mechanized raid, boat raid, helicopter raid and a humanitarian assistance and disaster relief (HA/DR) exercise.
