Marines and sailors with Battalion Landing Team, 2nd Battalion, 7th Marine Regiment, 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit, sign student’s notebooks at San Juan Elementary School, March 15. The Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) and U.S. servicemembers delivered clothes, toys, and school supplies donated by families and U.S. servicemembers from Okinawa, Japan. The supplies were delivered during a community relations project by the AFP and U.S. servicemembers. The two nations conduct COMREL events around the country in conjunction with medical, dental projects, and bilateral training exercises during exercise Balikatan 2010 (BK ’10).
