A Marine with Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 265 (Reinforced), 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit, scans for simulated targets from an AH-1Z Viper during an aerial gunnery exercise. The amphibious landing dock USS Green Bay (LPD 20), part of the Wasp Amphibious Ready Group, with embarked 31st MEU, is operating in the Indo-Pacific region to enhance interoperability with partners and serve as a ready-response force for any type of contingency.
