Sgt. Luis Martinez, a reconnaissance Marine, with Maritime Raid Force, 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit, conducts a live-fire range with police officers and SWAT members of the Guam Police Department at Anderson Air Force Base, Guam, Feb. 7, 2017. The MRF Marines trained with the police officers and SWAT team members as a gesture of good will between the two forces. As the Marine Corps' only continuously forward-deployed unit, the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit's air-ground-logistics team provides a flexible force, ready to perform a wide range of military operations, from limited combat to humanitarian assistance operations, throughout the Indo-Asia-Pacific region.
