WHITE BEACH, OKINAWA, Japan (Aug. 29, 2016) - Marines with Combat Logistics Battalion 31, 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit stack MRE boxes during a humanitarian assistance and disaster relief training exercise at White Beach, Okinawa, Japan, Aug. 29, 2016. The HADR exercise was held as part of the 31st MEU's Fall Patrol. The 31st MEU is the Marine Corps’ only continuously forward-deployed Marine Air-Ground Task Force, and is task-organized to address a range of military operations in the Asia-Pacific region, from force projection and maritime security to humanitarian assistance and disaster relief.
