Capt. Cory L. Holiday, Force Protection Officer, 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit holds two fingers up in front of Cpl. Justin S. Landry's face during an Oleoresin Capsicum Level 1 training course aboard the USS Essex, Oct 18. Holiday was ensuring that Landry could still maintain his vision after being OC sprayed. The 31st MEU is the only continually forward-deployed MEU, and remains the nation’s force in readiness in the Asia-Pacific region.
