The sun sets here on the first official day of Exercise Talisman Sabre 2011. The beach is a portion of the Shoal Water Bay Training Area, which is now the training ground for thousands of service members from both the Australian Defence Forces and the U.S. militiary. The 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit is participating with the ADF in TS11, which strenthens military-to-military relations and increases theater security cooperation between the two partner nations.
