Commander Ray Bailey, 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit chaplain, and a Malaysian military officer interact with students who will attend school in a new building, constructed as an Engineering Civil Assistance Project during Cobra Gold 2011. Marines of Combat Logistics Battalion 31, 31st MEU, 3rd Marine Expeditionary Brigade, as well as Royal Thai and Malaysian military members constructed the school in a tri-lateral effort over the past month. CG11 improves participating nations’ ability to conduct training while strengthening relationships between the militaries and local communities.
