A U.S. Navy landing craft air cushioned, carrying Marines and equipment of the 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit, arrives in Thailand for exercise Cobra Gold 2011, Feb. 8. The 2,200 Marines of the 31st MEU are participating in CG11 this year, which marks the 30th year of the exercise. CG11 improves participating nations' ability to conduct dynamic training, and strengthens relationships between militaries and nations.
