Cpl. Joseph Quiroz, a collateral duty inspector/quality assurance safety inspector with Marine Medium Helicopter 262, 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit, inspects an AV-8B Harrier jet for any loose parts or damage during a pre-flight check, February 1. These checks are done before every flight to help prevent any in-flight accidents, or injury to the pilots. The 31st MEU provides an ideal example of how the Marine Corps trains and operates as a Marine Air-Ground Task Force.
