Local government and school officials cut the ribbon with 3d Marine Expeditionary Brigade representative, Lt. Col. Bradford J. Tenney, assistant chief of staff G-6, during the dedication ceremony of the two-room classroom. The classroom was rebuilt by Marines from Combat Logistics Battalion 31, 31st Marine Expeditionary Unit, 3d MEB and their Filipino counterparts as part of Amphibious Landing Exercise 2011, Oct. 20. Phiblex '11 is a bilateral training exercise conducted with the Armed Forces of the Philippines and is designed to improve interoperability, increase readiness and continue to build professional relationships between the two countries.
